My Cheesy Video

By participating in this debate I learned how important it is to keep an open-mind when it comes to technology and learning. At first because of my research I was definetly leaning more towards the Clark side, but by the end because of Kozma's closing argument and the discussion held afterward I would have to say I am in the middle. I do agree with Clark that the underlying method embedded in the media is vital to learning, but I also agree with Kozma that the new media being designed is creating new methods as well as expanding our learning in incredible new ways that weren't possible a few years ago.

The video editing process was a great example of how media can influence learning. Anyone watching my segment of the debate can get a better sense of Clark's reasoning as opposed to just reading the outline of my debate points. The video keeps the learner interested and engaged through the use of effects, transitions, and text clips of key points.
